This is your big opportunity to see a live production of WEST SIDE STORY in Madrid.
The outdoor theater at Escenario Puerta del Ángel, just off Paseo de Extremadura inside Casa de Campo is a wonderful venue.
My seat was in the B section. I could see the stage, the translation of the songs in lights over the stage, the moon rising center stage and moving off to the right as the show progressed.
The tickets are 20,30,35 and 40 Euros. You can get them on line and don't have to wait in line.
The sound system was good. The singing was good. The dancing was absolutely fabulous!
YOU know the music! YOU know the songs! YOU know the story: Romeo and Julliet a la New York of the 1950's.
***The last shows are July 3rd, 4th and 5th at 9:30 pm.
Go! Go! Go! Don't miss it !

It was really nice!. I enjoyed it a lot. The actors were fantastic and the music and the dancing...everything. The scenery was beautiful: The Royal Palace, The Almudena Cathedral...and everything was well organized: parking, toilets, drinks, food(bocatas)and nice plastic containers of fruit. There are more things coming up, don't miss them
