Wendy . Blog Shakespeare slept here! Publicado 05 Marzo 2010

What do you think about this car-plane the "Transition" which is expected to be available in 2011? Terrafugia has completed its flight testing of the Transition POC (Proof of Concept). It's a plane that you can land at the airport, fold up the wings and drive home. Great idea! 20 years from now will we all have "Transitions"? Just think of the traffic jams in the sky! Check out Terrafugia.

flight: vuelo

proffo: prueba, comprobación

land: aterrizar

fold up: doblar

I'm not sure that the car-plane will be a good idea, a part that this cars will be very expensive we will have a lot of problems in the air. Actually nowadays we have problems in the roads with all these accidents produced every day and if we can not to control perfectly the driving in the roads what we expect we will do in a car that can fly. Another inconvenience is that we will need to learn how to drive a car-plane and do a lot of fly testing hours and I don't know but I don't think that these tests are chip and easy at all. In my opinion is better improve and start to innovate with cars that don't use hydrocarbons as the electric cars or the cars talked in on post of this blog, where say that there are cars that use the compressed air to move it. Therefore in my opinion these car-plane have too many inconvenient. Here I leave the link where you can look and post your comment about the cars moved by compressed air: http://comunidad.uem.es/shakespeare/2011/4/12/air-powered-cars#comments
