Try this one. Then scroll down for the anwer:

head
----
---
--
--

head
had
ad
-a

Now try these these:
date

----
---
--
--

date
ate
at
-a
brain

-----
----
---
--
--

brain
rain
ran
an
-a

Let's try building words.For example:

-I
is
his
this

-I
in
tin
thin
think
thinks

-a
an
tan
than
thank
thanks

-a
am
ham
hams
shams
shames

-I
in
win
wine
whine
whines

Now use some of your words:

You've got a good head . You are quite a brain! It's a shame that you whine when you can't get your way!
