"International" SPEED EXCHANGE

Meet new people really fast !

Everyone is welcome.

The 2º trimester exchange students are here at the UEM. Students from Spain, Mexico, Germany, England, Ireland, Poland, Canada and the USA were among this multi-lingual multi-cultural group. They talked and talked. Then met someone new and talked some more. It was fun. YOU should have been there. Hope to see many of you at the English Activities. Welcome to Spain. -Wendy

I LOVE THIS KIND OF MEETING, I THINKS THAT IT IS INDISPENSABLE TO KNOW FOREIGN COUNTRY PEOPOLE AND TRADITION. I'M ITALIAN AND I HAVE TO LIVE IN SPAIN FOR 6 YEARS DURING ALL MY MEDICINE STUDIES, IT IS NECESSARY FOR ME TO KNOW SPANISH CUSTOMS AND THAT IS POSSIBLE ONLY IF I TALK WITH SPANISH PEOPLE SO I CAN LEARN ABOUT THEM AND THEIR STORIES. IT WOULD BE BETTER IF THE UNIVERSITY ORGANIZE THIS KIND OF MEETING DURING THE EVENING SO EVERYONE CAN PARTECIPATE.

Oh! I think is a fantastic idea! It seems a very interesting activity. Due to it is a way to meet new people and above other countries. So we can learn other customs and others ways to see the world, from another perspective. I think without these activities would cost us much more relate with extrajeros, either by language or by shame. So here I encourage you to continue doing!

It´s a good way to meet other people and it´s an amazing form to improve your language. You can talk with other people over the world and you learn about other cultures so you improve your knowledge about other countries and other languages. It´s a good form to spend your free time.

In my opinion initiatives like that are very useful because we can improve our english level talking with people from other countries and know a lot about their cultures and costumes. This kind of activities help a lot to learn more things.

I would have participated if i were an Erasmus student, is a great idea! This activity is a good way of stablishing new relationships with other students while you are speaking english. Also you can learn from others' experiences, share yours and discover similarities in tastes with people

I think this kind of linguistic exchanges should be organizated more often for the language center. And it´s a great opportunity for foreign student who are studing in Madrid and for resident to meet new interesting people from different countries and cultures and live in a multicultural environment.
