Sounds quite weird to hear that objectives are the key to happiness, long term or medium run objectives, when you have the chance to live next to a baby or a very young child. They are almost all the time happy and satisfied. Their time horizon is restricted to now. Their attention is focused on the persons or objects next to them. Their needs seem to be limited to being fed, have a good night's sleep and being loved. Pablo Picasso once said: "It took me four years to paint like Raphael but a lifetime to paint like a child".
