Volunteer while you practice your English and help an NGO

AMIGOS DE SIERRA LEONA Our Social Responsibility activities for the academic year 2014-2015 have now been completed, and our donations sent to the NGO we are supporting this year, AMIGOS DE SIERRA LEONA, to help the people affected by the Ebola epidemic.These are the people in Madrid, the AMIGOS DE SIERRA LEONA, who helped get the container ready for shipment.

And these are the people who received the donation in Sierra Leona:

Language Center of the Universidad Europea, Madrid encourages staff and students to participate in the activities, to learn what volunteering is all about, to practice their English and several other languages, and to make their contribution to the world's work by supporting an NGO, a different one each year.

Congratulations to all the volunteers and participants and their help with the fundraising events at the UEM. The results have been a great achievement and all of it has been used for such a worthy cause! It is gratifying to know that with your participation, whether it be volunteering, donating and/or participating, your actions have made a major impact on other peoples' lives.

Congratulations to the Language Centre at UEM and especially to Wendy, an exceptional and active person always willing to help, for the achievements!!! I have had the opportunity to participate with Wendy in one activity and there is an enormous work behind every event

These days we have knew the very bad news about a lot of people that have lost yours lifes in order to try survive in other country... Thanks Wendy and the volunteers for giving away your work and the expectation that one better world is posible.
