A Vision of Students Today: Students think...

Wendy . Blog Published 24 July 2009

What do students think about their education, their classes, their professors? What do they want? What are they angry about? What can we do to improve university education? Here at the UEM and around Europe we're trying, and we're moving in the right direction. Ilene Smalec recommends that all students and especially all teachers watch "A vision of students today" It sends an important message.

This is really a very interesting video. Is supposed that with the Bolonia Process the student is the center, but do we really know the students' opinions? do the politician care about it? Why our society still rank the universities by the research they do or the publications they make? It is really important for the students preparation?

Wow.....very good food for thought! As a student who has studied in the United States, I´d like to add that most of these critics are true. We should work to better what I still think is a good system, but not unflawed.
