In late September, 2011 the news stations warned the world that some space junk would be falling to earth. Just where would it land? Should we worry about this?
You're probably used to hearing planes and helicopters flying by. You may be accustomed to noise from machinery and highway traffic. What about falling space debris? What would it look like? What would it sound like? How would you react? Watch http://www.wimp.com/nasasatellite/

used to hearing: acostumbrado a
highway: carretera
debris: escombros
How would you react?...Well, don´t ask. Anyway, the video is impressive, really.
I don't think that these junks can take the land!! I'm sure that when it start to enter to the atmosphere it will start to disintegrate and if not does, it will be detected by the radars and will be destroyed. But turn back to the questions and the answering it, I'm not sure of how will sound the falling space debris but maybe it will sound as when we throw a missile and we will hear it at kilometers of distance and if it touches the land, all the things near to it will be destroyed completely. Actually I don't know how I will react, but I suppose that the first thing that I will do is look which is it approximate trajectory that is following the object and then decide what I can do.
I believe that people appearing in the video are so impressed because we have completely forgotten about all the junk we have sent to the space. As we don’t see it, our perception is that it doesn’t exist, but it certainly does. So, I believe my first reaction would be totally surprised… And, to be honest, then I may think that someone is pulling my leg.
